Anyone who knows me, knows that I am very passionate about car audio/video and electronics.
Sometimes, to a fault.
I have refused to sell products to people, (even though they were willing to buy)... because it wasn't the right solution for their situation.
When someone comes in and says "I want to buy that amp," I don't just grab my receipt book and start writing.
I ask questions. I want to make SURE that they are buying the correct product for their particular system/application.
There are PLENTY of places that will take your money WITHOUT making sure that what you are buying is what you NEED. (Some of these places are even LOCAL.)
I'm not in the "sugar-coating business" and, contrary to the old saying, the customer is NOT always right.
Unfortunately, many customers have been lied to (by BS/inflated manufacturer specifications or even other shops) and/or poorly advised by a friend (who fancies himself an "expert" on car stereos.) I don't think that I am an expert on on anything BUT system design and consulting.
OK, time to watch some USC baseball
hope everyone has a great day
